Pintail Pond Pups Born March 15 2025!
We just had a litter of beautiful AKC Golden Retrievers by our outstanding dark goldens, Bunny and Boone! We do ENS and ESI scent training from days 3-17, followed by continued desensitizing and lots of handling and cuddling. The puppies visit the vet and get shots at 6 weeks, are dewormed every 2 weeks with nails trimmed weekly. They are introduced to Nutrisource Large breed puppy food around 4 weeks, and we also will begin to work diligently on potty training around that time! Our dogs live the good life out on the farm with our family. Their temperaments are wonderful, and will be passed along to each puppy. We strive to start each litter with utmost care, using basic early training techniques that have been proven to benefit the puppy throughout its life.

OUR STORY
Hi! We are Calenn and Laura from Pintail Pond Farm. Spring 2021, we sold our home on the edge of town to raise our seven sweet and rambunctious kids on “the farm”. We bought an old farmstead on the outskirts of Pease, MN. Incredulously, we are the first owners of this 120 acre farm since the original family deeded it from the government in the 1800’s! We are currently renovating the original farmhouse, and much of the property. Calenn is a Montana farm boy import to Minnesota, and is an old hand at the many things here that need fixing and building. We are raising red angus breeding stock (thanks Rich Red Angus!), have horses, a milk cow, a kitty named granny, free range chickens, and our prize golden retrievers (Bunny, Boone, Crockett, Two Gun Gwenny)! This is an exciting new venture for us, and our hopes are high!
Our driveway is long and bumpy, the farmyard is pretty muddy, but we have faith that this is the start of something truly special. Have a great day!
